All Set for Book Signing Event in Louisville

February, which is my birth month, is set to bring many opportunities for Refugee Was My Name. All current book signings are scheduled in the month of February. As you already may know, the first book signing in February will be on Saturday, February 4, in Louisville, at the Kentucky Center for African American Heritage. The address is 1701 West Muhammad Ali, Louisville, KY 40203.

Opine Publishing has scheduled the order of books to be shipped to Mrs. Juanita White, my gracious and enthusiastic Louisville coordinator. As part of Black History Month, this event is being widely promoted throughout the Louisville metropolis, thanks to Juanita's creative ways.

This Friday, February 3rd, I leave for Louisville to spend the night at the home of Juanita and her husband Dennis. Miss Harriet and our children will not be going with me, because our son has a basketball game on Friday evening. So they will have to get the goodies second hand, but I will have my Flip Video camera handy to save all the memorable moments.

Please pray for traveling grace, for all final arrangements, and for a great turn out. Hopefully we will connect with some key people who will not only read the book but tell their families, friends, coworkers, clubs, churches, and other organizations about the book. Thanks a ton for your supportive grace.
